Loewe Barcelona Flagship Store Re-Opening by Peter Marino and A/W 2012 Fashion Show

Last night I assisted as a guest of the brand Loewe ( part of the luxury group LVMH ) on the occation of the re-opening of their flagship store in Barcelona that remained closed since june.

The American architect Peter Marino has been in charge of the reform of the historical building,where the store is located in Paseo de Gracia 35.

We were received with a glass of champagne and some delicious canapé made by the well know cook Carles Gaig.

After the presentation of the new store was over, we were transferred to the Antoni Tàpies Foundation, reconvered in the Loewe Museum for one night with the most colorfull pieces and bags of the firm and where the fashion show autum/winter 2012 for men and women took place.

Once the fashion show was over we had a cocktail dinner and could enjoy a walk throught the Loewe world always accompanied with best music by the famous DJ Gerard Estadella.

An unforgettable night that many will remember..

Anoche acudí como uno de los invitados de la firma Loewe perteneciente al gigante del lujo LVMH con el motivo de la re-inauguración de su tienda insignia en Barcelona que desde el mes de junio llevaba cerrada.

El arquitecto estadounidense Peter Marino ha sido el encargado de reformar el edificio histórico, donde se encuentra la tienda en el número 35 del Paseo de Gracia.

Al llegar nos recibieron con una copa de champagne y unos canapés deliciosos de la mano del conocido cocinero Carles Gaig.

Una vez finalizado el acto de presentación de la nueva tienda renovada nos trasladaron a la Fundación Antoni Tàpies, reconvertida por una noche en un Museo Loewe con las piezas y los bolsos mas coloridos de la firma y donde se celebro el desfile de la colección otoño/ invierno 2012 de hombre y mujer.

Finalizado el desfile se sirvió una cena/cocktail a la vez que pudimos disfrutar de un paseo por el mundo Loewe acompañado con  la mejor música por Gerard Estadella.

Una velada inolvidable que sin duda recordaran muchos..
