Rosa Clará Bridal Show 2013

Last Tuesday I attended the Rosa Clará bridal show, which as in every edition opens the Gaudí Bridal Week in Barcelona.
This year it surprised us with the election of the androgin top model Andrej Pejic, who opened and closed the show.

White with pastel shades are the hallmarks of the new Rosa Clará 2013 bridal collection. Pastel pink, aquamarine, sky blue and natural whites come together in three lines forming a collection which is the very essence of woman’s femininity in its pure state.
Light, flowing lines in pleated gauze and silk tulle gowns bringing diaphanous, elegant movement.
Satins, satin silk with straight lines, and full length skirts combined with flowers and feathers.
Volume, dresses with full, light skirts, short dresses, mermaid dresses, and floral blouses and coats all make for guaranteed impact, thanks to this year’s stunning innovation: the introduction of fantasy fabric appliqués on wedding dresses. Flowers embroidered on organza will be the season’s great surprise element.

Once the show was over many of the guests went to La Llotja de Mar, a beautiful actual neoclassical building form the XVIII century, where Rosa Clará awaited her guests with a delicious cocktail dinner.
Once dinner was over we went to the "Contratation" room, a great hall where the Spanish singer Rosario Flores was waiting for us. Rosa Clará's husband is a great follower and friend of this singer who made a perfect closure of the party with some fabulous mojitos.
