Frankie Morello’s initial idea for the forthcoming
2013 Autumn/Winter collection is inspired by a long-held passion: Pierfrancesco
Gigliotti’s love of architecture and accuracy.
Therefore, the new collection
converts clothing into a building, a house that not only contains man’s body,
but also his passions and ideas.
Prints on clothes are inspired by red-brick houses in
New York’s West Village that are tattooed on the fabrics as if they were pages
of a magazine. Fantasy prints are inspired by Florentine marble and real wood
becomes a decoration on backpacks and accessories.
T-shirts give a three-dimensional illusion and
knitwear includes mirrors as if they were the end of a corridor.
