Pedro Soley: Diesel Black Gold Spring/Summer 2013

Diesel Black Gold surprised us with a spectacular fashion show in an industrial pier. You could enjoy the magic views of the Hudson River and New Jersey's skyline from the backstage.
I got there two hours before the show, to enjoy peacefully, without the last minute stress, the different propositions on the hangers for the new 2013 spring/summer season.
By the time I got there, I found a fabulous catering held by Dean and Deluca , one of my gourmet places to be every time I visit New York.
In this collection the colour palette comes down to black and white, with slight colour insinuations. The stampings are inspired on the details of street art and skate park graffities. The characteristic rock-chick of Diesel's DNA is present in the whole collection, but the functionality of the urban sport clothing appears itself as duct tape in the pants' lower area, and the strap effect in the dresses.
As a result, the collection is without a doubt, contemporary and wearable by a demanding public, which favors luxury and youthful spirit.

Diesel Black Gold nos sorprendió con un desfile en una espectacular nave industrial con unas vistas mágicas desde backstage al precioso Rio Hudson y a todo el skyline de New Jersey.
Llegue un par de horas antes para poder disfrutar con tranquilidad y sin el ajetreo de la gente las diferentes propuestas que estaban colgadas en los percheros para esta próxima primavera/verano 2013.
A mi llegada, para mi sorpresa me encontré con un fabuloso catering de la casa Dean and Deluca , mi place to be gourmet cada vez que visito Nueva York.
En esta colección la paleta de colores se reduce al blanco y negro, con insinuaciones sutiles de color.
Los estampados se inspiran en el detalle del street art y los graffiti de los parques de skate.
El característico rock-chic del ADN de la marca está omnipresente, pero la funcionalidad de la ropa de los deportes urbanos emerge como cinta americana en el bajo de los pantalones y efectos de correa en los vestidos.
El resultado es una colección, sin lugar a dudas, contemporánea y ponible para un público exigente con un gusto por el lujo y de espíritu joven.
